Tilt
TILT ist ein Hocker, der ein gerades und rückenfreundliches Sitzen fördert und gleichzeitig Spaß macht. Er nutzt das Prinzip des einbeinigen Melkschemels, ist jedoch mit einem breiten, abgeschrägten Fuß ausgestattet, damit er bei Nichtbenutzung nicht umfällt, sondern an seinem Platz stehen bleibt. Zum geraden Sitzen kippt man leicht nach vorne und balanciert auf der Spitze. Das ist erstaunlich unkompliziert und erfordert keinen großen Kraftakt. Durch das ständige Austarieren bleibt man in minimaler Bewegung, der Rücken wird gelockert und die Muskulatur aufgebaut.
Der Hocker ist konzipiert für die Herstellung in einer Werkstatt für Menschen mit Behinderung. Das bedeutet, dass er einen relativ simplen Aufbau hat. Der Zuschnitt der Einzelteile erfolgt mit Schablonen, welche ein selbstständiges Arbeiten ermöglichen und gleichzeitig dafür sorgen, dass in einer Kleinserienproduktion alle Hocker gleich sind.
TILT is a stool that enables you to sit in good posture. It uses the principle of the classic milkstool which forces you to balance on one chairleg. This results in constant minimal movement that is strenghening your back muscles without being exhausting. Instead it is fun and absorbs the bodies normal urge to move itself. Towards the classic thinlegged milkstool TILT has a special expanded leg that prevents the stool from falling over.
The stool is planned to be produced in a local workshop for disabled people. This means that the structure of it is pretty simple. Additionally all parts can be cut with the help of templates which help the peoble to work independently and also provokes that in serial production all the stools are the same.
